In Dream Sun Spain We want to prove to you that in the Costa Blanca you can enjoy all year
Although many do not believe it, the Costa Blanca is a place where you can enjoy 365 days a year. In Dream Sun Spain we want you to delight in every corner of this wonderful area, and that's why we propose 5 plans you can make this fall 2021.
A good idea to spend the afternoon in family is visit the Dénia Toy Museum. It is on calle Calderón, s/n, less than 50 metres from calle Marqués de Campo.
The entrance to this picturesque museum is completely free of charge and is at your disposal every day from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00h.
This museum is installed on the first floor of the Old train station of Dénia, with an exhibition of toys manufactured in the Marina Alta's capital from the early 20th century to the 1960s.
This is a beautiful experience for the elders of the house, who will be able to find toys of their childhood and remember good moments, and at the same time, for the little ones, who will be able to discover first hand, the difference between the toys before and those that they now use to have fun.

Another interesting family outing, especially for those with a sweet tooth, is a visit Valor Chocolate Museum in Villajoyosa, also known as the Valencian Chocolate Museum.
5 generations of chocolate masters later, which in his day was a small family factory, became a tempting museum.
From 1998 it is possible to make guided tours and learn about the process of making chocolate and all the history of Chocolates Valor, from birth to present.
Visits are available Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00.
The entrance of the visit is free and its duration is 45 minutes, but to access, you need to get an entry ticket from the automatic dispenser located at the entrance of the enclosure. This is done in order to control the capacity (15 people).
For more information, you can contact by calling 966 810 451 or by mail: museum@valor.es. Or visit this link.

Our next suggestion is for adults aged 18 and over: a wine tasting and wine pairing in the locality Xaló.
Xaló, also known as Jalón, is a municipality in the Valencian Community, in the northeast of Alicante province within the Marina Alta region. This welcoming village is known for its crafts, archaeological heritage and, above all, its winemaking tradition.
It is no accident that this wine tradition has been given in Jalon, because there are many factors that favor the creation of wines of excellent quality in their lands:
- Its rocky limestone soils favour the Giró (Garnacha) grape, producing excellent red wines.
- The narrower valleys, with deep, fertile soils, are ideal for rosé wines.
- The driest, stoniest soils are excellent for producing Jalón's sweetest mistelas.
That's why it's in Dream Sun Spain, we recommend visiting this wonderful area full of vineyards, covering the entire horizon, and visiting Bodegas Xaló, known as “the cradle of the Moscatel”, to perform the wine tasting and wine pairing.
This tasting takes place in groups of at least 4 people, only 12€ each. You have to book at least 24 hours in advance and its duration is 90 minutes. The schedules are: Wednesdays and Fridays at 16:30h and Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00h.

If you like to do sport while enjoying the outdoors, in Dream Sun Spain we recommend a mountain route that will become one of your favorites. The level of difficulty is medium-low, so it is also suitable for the little ones of the house.
It's about the Circular route of the Serra de Bérnia, starting at Cases de Bèrnia, reached via the CV-749 from Xaló or Benissa. A large car park makes it easy to leave your vehicle.
From Cases de Bèrnia, follow the signs towards Font de Bèrnia and the Forat. At the spring, you can refill with fresh drinking water. The climb then begins towards the Forat, becoming harder near the mountain's rock faces, with a couple of easy scrambling sections requiring your hands. A narrow tunnel crosses the ridge; after crouching through it, you emerge onto a natural balcony with views of Altea and Serra Gelada.
After enjoying one of the best views of the entire Costa Blanca, the trail runs below the walls of the southern side of the Sierra de Bérnia, descending and crossing several meadows, where you will find the first detour that indicates that, going up to the right hand, you will find the cave paintings of the Hermitage of the Vicar. When you return to the trail, you have to continue the route and pass through several information panels. Finally, you will arrive at the crossroads where the PR-CV 7 links with the descent to Altea by the Barca Fountain.
From the junction, head towards Fort de Bèrnia and the plateau containing its ruins. This Renaissance fort dates from the 16th century. Font de la Fort is a few minutes' descent away.
Continue past the fort over a saddle around the mountain, then follow the track down to Cases de Bèrnia. A path on the left provides a shortcut for part of the descent.
This incredible circular route consists of 9.8 km of route and can be done in a period of between 2 and 4 hours, depending on each one.
Finally, the plan we propose below is ideal for the whole family, it is the visit Palau dels Borja, a ducal palace located in the city of Gandía, designated a Site of Cultural Interest in 1964.
It is one of the most representative buildings of Valencian historical heritage. Its architecture includes remains of the Gothic palace from the 14th and 15th centuries, 16th-century Renaissance additions, Baroque alterations from the 17th and 18th centuries and neo-Gothic reconstruction from the 19th and 20th centuries.
In Dream Sun Spain We recommend a guided tour to discover its history and the secrets of the Borja family, one of the most influential families in 15th-century Europe.
The duration of this visit is approximately 45 minutes, for reasons of the Covid19 and its corresponding capacity control, must be booked in advance by calling 96 287 14 65 or visites@palauducal.com. Online tickets can also be purchased this link.
The adult price is 7€, children between 7 and 17 years of age have a special price of 4€, as well as retirees, students, unemployed persons and large family members, have a special price of 6€.
