- enjoy living in a detached home, with neighbours but no homeowners' association
- want a peaceful area close to the beach
- live in a large city and want to escape at weekends, on long weekends and during holidays to relax and recharge
- want a regular holiday base without having to search for accommodation every year
- want to generate a return through long-term, seasonal or holiday letting
- and, above all, enjoy sunshine all year round
